PADMICA Intercultural Preparation: in-person session materials now available

Why does your institution need the PADMICA Intercultural Preparation Module? Because it is practice-oriented, scalable, evidence-based, and adaptable to a wide range of institutional contexts, while also taking real-world resource constraints into account.

We are pleased to announce that the materials for the physical branch of the PADMICA Intercultural Preparation Module are now available.

The in-person session naturally builds on the knowledge-based online component, which introduces foundational concepts and guides students through reflection questions. These reflections are revisited and explored in greater depth during the face-to-face session. The physical format enables the creation of a safe and supportive learning environment, encourages personal interaction, and leverages group dynamics, all of which are essential for engaging with intercultural themes.

The in-person component of the PADMICA Intercultural Preparation Module is delivered in a lecture-style format led by an experienced trainer, while placing strong emphasis on interaction, both between the trainer and students and among students themselves.

To support implementation, the materials for delivering the in-person session include a comprehensive trainer manual that guides staff step by step through the session, a ready-to-use PowerPoint presentation, and an Implementation Guide FAQ.
